Today was a wonderful, relaxing non beach day. Originally, we had scheduled to go parasailing at 11:30 a.m. But by 10 a.m., we were experiencing one of the worst rain storms of my life. It literally poured buckets, all while the wind blew and the lightning and thunder made its made its appearance. That afternoon, we lost power and there was even some concern about a cyclone hitting! The storm lasted early into the morning hours of the next day. Depending on where you were at on the island, they received anwhere from 9-12 inches of rain! This island really needed moisture; however, this storm didn't help the farm lands as the ground was so dry and the rain came so hard and fast, that it didn't get much of an opportunity to soak into the ground.
That being said, we ran to the SPA to see if we could schedule something there. Lucky for us, we got the last open appointment of the day. It consisted of a 25 minute milky bath in a humongous tub and an hour long couple’s massage. Who could ask for anything more??
